How I play Pangya. Written on January 29, 2012, by .

!! ATTENTION !! By no means is this a God given rule that will net you -40s. lol. This is just how I do it and because I am not shooting -35 and higher on ever single course (only on 1 course!), I cannot say this method and these numbers are the universal truth. This is just what I’ve been doing for the past year and a half. I’m curious as to how other people calculate their shots.

…..

So today, I realized that people have different ways of calculating their shots. I decided to post my shot process, with screencaps, in hopes of seeing how different (or alike) the way I calculate shots is different from other people’s methods.

Step 1: Look at the pin, elevation, lie and wind.

The pin in this picture is 210. There’s not much of an elevation here (0.19), so I’ve ignored it this time around. If there is elevation, either subtract (if negative) or add (if positive) the elevation number from the pin’s distance. Let’s say the elevation above was -3.00. I’d simply do 210 – 3 = 207, and that’s my current pin distance. Likewise, if the elevation is a positive number, I do current pin distance + elevation.

Pangya PSP Animations – Pipin Written on September 13, 2011, by .

All caddies from the PC MMO version of Pangya, with the exception of Dolfini, become unlockable and playable characters in Fantasy Golf Pangya Portable for the PSP (Playstation Portable). I haven’t seen anything like this on YouTube (or Nico Nico Douga) yet, so my new project will be to record the par, bogey, birdie, etc. animations of the Pangya PSP exclusive characters. First off is Pipin. Hope you all enjoy.

My only regret is that the capture device I bought ($35 at Best Buy & on sale) is so fisking low quality, geez. Plus, I ran into a lot of problems, like the dang thing giving my desktop a Blue Screen of Death (it only seems to want to work on my netbook with Windows XP – my desktop has Windows 7 64-bit). But yeah, didn’t want to cough up $100 for a better capture device (and didn’t want to hack my PSP)…

Pirate Coin Event

At first, I didn’t think this event was such a big deal, but then I noticed – hey, that’s Cocoa and Puff caps for 10 characters, not 9! That means they’ve got Cocoa and Puff caps available for Nell, too! Awesome! More Nell things for me to collect. (Wait, is this actually a good thing?) Too bad the odds of me getting a Nell cap randomly (1/10) are kind of unlikely…
